Getting Even With Hackers Through Password Shock

In today’s digital world, cybersecurity is of an essential importance and its goal is to protect your privacy and disable any unauthorized use of different electronic data. So, if you are looking for ways to prevent cyber attacks from happening to you or your business – Password Shock is the best solution!

In this article, we will provide you with some insightful information about this powerful tool, as well as the guidelines for how to use it in your private or professional environment and ensure a maximum level of cybersecurity.

What is Password Shock?

Password Shock by LogMeOnce is a tool which sends warnings to any intruder who tries to hack your system. Every time an unauthorized person tries to gain access to any of your information and data, Password Shock will send an automated response to their device.

If you want to be extra careful and show hackers that you really take your cyber security and passwords very seriously, with the help of this incredible tool, they won’t be bothering you ever again. The best thing about it is that you basically don’t even have to do anything, as the technology will take care of your problems and guarantee that you are 100 percent safe.

Cyber attacks can happen out of nowhere, they always come unexpected and, what is worse, they are constantly evolving. That is why if you want to protect your passwords, you should go an extra mile and ensure that you are well prepared if something happens.

The same as all of the other LogMeOnce products, Password Shock can easily be implemented to various different operating systems and computing platforms. Whether your preferred browser is Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari or Firefox, and whether you are using Microsoft Windows, Linux, Mac, Android or iOS – this tool is designed to fit all your needs!

How does it work?

If someone tries to hack your personal LogMeOnce account, they will receive an instant warning saying “Your device is not authorized for access to our network. If you want to pair it with your own account, then tap on the ‘Pair/Add New Device’ button. If you are wrongly trying to get entry, this attempt will be treated as unauthorized access”.

If they don’t take that warning message seriously and make an attempt to attack you once again – they will be “shocked” the way you choose.

This shock can include: extremely loud music coming from the device the intruder is using, continuous annoying vibration, flashing Morse code, screen shaking or the flashlight that keeps turning on and off. What is more, you have an ability to adjust how long this “shock” will last, as well as its volume and intensity.

This will show the intruders that you are not an easy target and that you are quite serious when it comes to your passwords and your privacy, and they will move on to someone else who is not so strongly protected as you!

How to use Password Shock?

Not only that Password Shock is highly effective, but it can easily be set up as well, making it easy to use for everyone regardless of their previous experience in cybersecurity.

The first thing you need to do is to click on the Smart Menu and find Password Shock in the section named Security. Then simply click on it, and its configuration screen will be displayed. There is no need for you to make any changes in the settings, as all of the configurations have already been automated so that you can use default settings.

Afterward, turn Password Shock on. There is even a Test Drive option available, which is designed to show you what a potential intruder will be faced with if they try to hack your account. There are various “shocks” that you can choose to properly annoy the hackers and make them wish they have never tried to mess with you.

They include login issue alert message, stop alert message with music, warning alert message with music and voices, screen vibration with loud music, shaking screen with loud music, Morse code with music, account blocked message with music, SOS flash screen with music, and Captcha.

When you want to test how these shocks look and sound like, they will be previewed for 5 seconds only while in the case of the hackers, they will last for obnoxious 20 seconds!

If the simple, default configuration is not enough for you, you can click on Advanced configuration after which the detailed configuration will be displayed. There are 2 different configurations provided – one is the restriction for unknown devices, while the other one offers restriction for your known devices.

If you decide to make any changes in these sections, you can easily switch them back to default, by clicking the Reset button.

To sum up, having your privacy protected has always been a challenge. However, thanks to Password Shock from LogMeOnce, this is no longer an issue, as all of your passwords are guaranteed to remain protected no matter what!
